Peter Lik Galleries Unveils ‘Tree of Life’ and Donates a Portion of Proceeds to Concern Worldwide’s Haiti Relief Efforts

Peter Lik Galleries unveiled Peter's latest work ‘Tree of Life' to collector's world-wide during a simultaneous unveiling on February 12, 2010. The galleries also proudly announced that a portion of all proceeds of ‘Tree of Life," sold in the month of February, will be donated to Concern Worldwide's ongoing Haiti relief efforts.

Concern Worldwide is a humanitarian aid organization which is dedicated to the elimination of extreme poverty in the world's poorest countries. The ‘Tree of Life' is symbolic of life and hope and the resilience that will help rebuild Haiti in the coming months and years

As most of us are aware, a 7.0-magnitude earthquake recently struck Port-au-Prince, the heavily populated Haitian capital. It is estimated that as many as three million people have been affected by this tragedy. The partnership between Peter Lik and Concern Worldwide enables collectors to acquire fine art while providing relief to the people of Haiti in this time of great need.
