Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) hosted the 2010 Hope Gala titled "Imagine" on Friday, May 7 at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.
The annual event is one of JDRF's largest fundraisers and this year saw more than 600 guests enjoy the evening. With the help of honoree Renee West, President & COO of Mandalay Bay, the event raised more than $650,000 for the charity.
Guests were greeted by a world of imagination and were entertained by all-female rock string quartet Bella Rumore and the Faith Lutheran Honor Choir. The money raised goes towards finding a cure for Type 1 diabetes.
Peter Lik is proud to take part in the cure for Juvenile Diabetes. During the 2010 Hope Gala "Imagine," Peter's fine art photograph, "Stone Temple," was auctioned and sold for $4,500.

The vibrant colors evoke emotion while the tranquil grass provides a sense of peace.
Pete took the shot just beneath the tree with a wide angle lens shortly after a rainstorm which intensified the breathtaking colors in the photo.
The branches symbolize one's journey through life.
