Oprah Winfrey is a Huge Fan of Peter Lik

Oprah Winfrey, American television host, actress, producer, and philanthropist recently visited LIK LAHAINA in Lahaina, Hawaii. After leaving, she made a personal phone call to Peter in which she told him, "I love your photography like Mother Nature loves you." She visited the gallery on July 17th, 2010, the same day that Peter's latest masterpiece "Imagine", made its worldwide debut at all 13 Lik Galleries.


To date, "Imagine," the third release of 2010 has been the most successful release of a Peter Lik piece.  It quickly surpassed "Tree of Life," the record setting release of early 2010.  Currently, over 25% of the edition has been sold including Artist Proof and Limited Edition prints.

The success of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" now on air for almost twenty-five years, has helped to launch the success of numerous products and personalities and we are honored to have her as a collector of Peter Lik Fine Art Photography.  As well as hosting and appearing on television shows, Winfrey co-founded the women's cable television network Oxygen. She is also the president of Harpo Productions (Oprah spelled backwards.)

Celebrity Collectors of Peter Lik's work include Bill Clinton, Magic Johnson and Cindy Crawford to name a few.

Oprah has now seen the light . . . Lik's Light. She'll be hooked like the rest of us who love nature and Peters view of it !  
 
Pele's Whisper is a favorite but I have to say IMAGINE takes the top spot ! The way it draws you in and how the colors captivate . . . 
 
Congratulaions Peter! You may be " 100 miles from nowhere " but wherever you are you seem to be getting everyones attention!

We were in Lahaina in July also! We went to the gallery twice; once the week of the 10th and once the following week to see Peter's latest release. That was when I became a fan of Peter's awesome photography. Can't wait for the 100 Miles From Nowhere program to start.
